Hello, My daughter is 3 years 7 months old as of now, I am admitting her in Nursery Standard in a Normal School but could not got selected in any big school. My question is how many classes are there before 1st standard, she attended play school also..

Can I try next year for KG Class????

Please find below the stage of classes which have to be done before 1st standard.

1) pre-nursery

2) Nursery

3) LKG

4) UKG

There is a Pre Primary Stage before 1st standard. Pre primary education in India is provided to children between 3–6 years by Kindergarten, Playway or Play Schools. These schools have varying terminology for different levels of classes, beginning from – Pre-Nursery, Nursery, KG, LKG (Lower Kindergarten) and UKG (Upper Kindergarten).

There are Pre Nursery, Nursery, KG, LKG and UKG before 1st standard.

There are three classes before 1st standard these are :-
Nursery
LKG
UKG
CLASS 1.
