I have not register in IBPS exam. I have completed my graduation. What is procedure for it? When is the next exam date for (po exam). Waiting for your reply?

IBPS stands for Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection. This institute conducts common written examination for post of clerk and probationary officer exam for various public sector banks.

If you are graduate, you can apply for both clerk and PO exams. The Probationary officer exam for 2015 is over now. You must wait for notification of 2016 IBPS CWE exam for PO post. Generally it is released in August month of every year.

After release of notification, you can apply for exam at official website http://www.ibps.in.

The schedule for 2016 PO examination conducted by IBPS is not released yet. But, you are eligible to appear for examination.

To appear for examination candidates must have passed graduation degree from a recognised university and age between 21-30 years with +3 years and +5 years relaxation for OBC and SC/ST candidates in upper age limit.

The examination is conducted in three stages which includes written and Interview stages.

The notification for examination may be available from July. For more update visit at www.ibps.in.

IBPS (Institute of Banking Personal Selection) conducts entrance exams for various posts such as clerk, probationary officer, specialist officer. To apply for the IBPS exam, you need to visit http://www.ibps.in where you need to create a profile and you will be given a ID number and password. You need to login with this id and submit all your details such as your educational qualification, personal details.

You would need to attach your passport photo and your signature as per the dimensions mentioned by IBPS during the online application and at last you need to choose a bank to make the payment.

After successful completion of payment you will be notified about the status and a mail will be sent to the corresponding mail id.

Regarding the PO exam, it is held as Tier 1 & Tier 2 which is IBPS Prelims exam and Tier 2 is IBPS PO Mains Exam. You need to clear the prelims in order to move to main exam and then Interview.

The PO exam for the year 2015 is over and the next notification for year 2016 is yet to be published. You can check the notification at the official site HERE

IBPS PO Recruitment 2016-17 Important Dates:

This year IBPS PO has been successfully completed in the month of October 2015 and its interviews are going to be held in the month of January 2016. Hence IBPS PO Recruitment 2015 recruitment was missed, I suggest you to get an Idea on IBPS PO Recruitment 2016-17.

Here I am attaching the official notification of IBPS PO Recruitment 2015-16 to give an Idea on How to Register for this exam. I request you to go through 9th and 10th Pages of notification which has been provided below and you will required details from those 2 pages.

You can visit the official IBPS website when registration for next exam is open. You should keep yourself ready with latest scanned photo and scanned signature of yourself in .jpg format before registration. You have to upload these two in the application form. Fee can be paid through online mode or bank challan. You have to enter all your personal details like date of birth and academic details.

Exam is conducted every six months means twice in a year. Just keep visiting IBPS website for update because there is no fixed date for exam dates and it depends on previous recruitment also.

Below, I have mentioned the eligibility criteria for IBPS, PO examination.

PO Eligibility:

> Minimum age requirement for this exam is 20 years

> Maximum age is allowed till 30 years

> Age relaxation is provided to SC/ST of 5 years, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for disabled candidates

> Candidate should have completed his/her graduation in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks.

> Candidates must have completed their +2 from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks.

NOTE: Only those candidates are eligible who have completed their education or graduation in a regular pattern and for distance learning candidates there is no opportunity for these exams, which means that distance degree holders need not apply.

The registration of Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection examination is done at official website of IBPS http://www.ibps.in.

Since, you have completed graduation, you can apply for common written exam of both clerk and probationary officer. IBPS PO exam was conducted in October, 2015. The dates for 2016 exam is not yet declared by IBPS.

Age limit for PO is 20-30 years.
