Yes, open schooling is valuable. NEET is conducted for admission in MBBS course.

The eligibility to apply for NEET is that candidate must have passed std 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main paper with minimum 50% aggregate.

The minimum age limit is 17 years and no upper age limit. So, if you have the required qualification than eligible for applying and after qualifying eligible for admission in the course.

NIOS students are eligible to give NEET. Candidates who have not gone under classroom training are eligible for NEET (UG) as NIOS is a recognized qualification. Since the candidate can give the National Entrance exam Eligibility Test, they can pursue MBBS in India and abroad.

NO, you will not face any kind of problem in pursuing MBBS or any other course, if you have completed your 12th from a recognised open schooling board.
NIOS board or any other open board certificate is valid for all Higher Education courses in India.
You can apply for admission when universities announces the notification.

As long as your open schooling board/council is recognized by Indian Education System for offering senior secondary school degree course, your Class 12th in Open Schooling mode is valid for admission in MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) degree course.

To check whether your open schooling board is recognized one or not ?, you can refer to the link https://www.cobse.org.in/recognized-...l-boards-list/ to get the list of Recognized Education Boards/Councils under Indian Education System.

Also, for getting admission in MBBS degree course from any medical college in India, you are required to qualify NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) held by NTA once every year. For details regarding NEET, you can refer to the link www.ntaneet.nic.in.

MBBS is Bachelor in Medicine and Bachelor in Surgery. It is five year course. To get admission in the course, you have to appear and qualify in the NEET.

NEET is conducted by NTA. The eligibility to appear for the examination is that candidate must have passed 12th in Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main paper with minimum 50% aggregate from a recognised board ( regular or open ).

So, you can appear in the examination and qualify in the examination for admission in MBBS course.

The medical council of India (MCI) has published a circular and said that the candidates who have passed 10+2 from open school boards, i.e., National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) and State Open Schooling (SOS), would not be permitted to take MBBS admission in Abroad.
