Re: Is there any way to do 12th from an open school and give CBSE board exam?
First of all, you should change your mind of giving board exams of your 10+2 from an open school. You should study and give board exams from a CBSE school and that too after pursuing regular class. This is because result of regular schooling will definitely act as more preference as compared to the private and the open school’s ones when any company will conduct a recruiting drive.
Now coming to your query, yes, you can give CBSE board exam while studying in an open school but that will be accounted as private course and not a regular one. If you want to appear as a regular candidate for the board exam, you need to take admission in a school which is under the CBSE and then give exam by maintaining proper attendance. If you want to give CBSE board exams and study in open school, then you have two alternatives. 1. You take admission in an open school under the CBSE board and then give board exam from it as a private student. 2. You can study in open school and get a tie up with another school under CBSE curriculum as a private student and give exams representing a private student from that school. Our best wishes are with you. |

In order to change the board you can take admission in an open school under cbse board.
After applying this you can eligible for cbse examinations. |

If you wish to give 12th board examination of CBSE board then you have to carry on because open school system is not available in CBSE.
So,if you have been a regular till 11th then you need to continue unless you would become not be eligible to fill form for board examination of 12th. |
