Hi, My kid is 4 years 5 months old as on June 2023. He was born on Feb 2020.. Can he join UKG(PP2) in CBSE Standard. Please confirm

UKG admission eligibility criteria as per CBSE standard:-

Minimum age:- 4 years and 6 months as of June 30th of the academic year in which the student is seeking admission.

Maximum age:- 5 years and 6 months as of June 30th of the academic year in which the student is seeking admission.

If a student is seeking admission to UKG for the academic year 2023-2024, they must have been born between April 1st, 2017 and March 31st, 2018.

Some schools may have more stringent age criteria, so it is always best to check with the school you are interested in before applying.

For admission into UKG, the minimum age limits are 4 years and 6 months as of March 31 of the academic session.
