Hi my daughter's birth date is 24th November 2014. So I want to know that the age criteria for her schooling in which grade I will take her admission?

CBSE has not declared any notification regarding the age limit criteria to get admission in any class.

It is the Directorate of State education which determines the age limit criteria. So, visit the concerned office for detail information about the admission procedure.

The age criteria for admission in Nursery and LKG as per CBSC rule:-

The minimum age required in order to get a candidate are admitted in Nursery and LKG is 3 year and 6 months.
However, as you have maintained above, your child is very much eligible for admission in Nursery or LKG.

You can visit the school or the Directorate of State education board to get the detail information.

As CBSE has not made any announcement regarding the age limit criteria. It is upto the state or UTs to declare the same.

According to the DoE rules, the upper age limit as of March 31, 2021, for admission in nursery and kindergarten (KG) is four and five years respectively while the maximum age cap for class I is six years. The minimum age for admission in these classes is three, four, and five years, respectively.

What is the age criteria for admission in nursery and LKG as per CBSC rule.

• The minimum age for nursery is 3 years,
And 5 years is maximum for nursery class.

• The minimum age for LKG is 4 years.
And 6 years is maximum for LKG class.

The age criteria for admission in the nursery is four years. And five years for LKG as per Central Board of Secondary rule. The minimum age for these classes is three years, and four years respectively.

Admission is direct in these classes in India.

The age limit for admission in class nursery and kindergarten is 4 and 5 years respectively...

Child should have attained the age of 3-3.5 yrs as on 1st june of respective year...

Age of candidate must be above three years and six months in order to get admission in LKG in CBSE schools.
But these criteria change from school to school.

The minimum age required to get admission in nursery is 3 years in CBSE schools.

Nursery - 2+
LKG - 3+
UKG - 4+
Class first- 5 +
1 to 5 class - 5 to 11 years
6 to 10 class- 11 to 14/15 years.
