My sister was born on August 11th 1999.she studied up to 6th class due to some health problems she discontinued her studies. Now she is 18. Can she study directly 10th now (without 7th,8th,9th) in regular time. We know that she can study vocational course, but we want to join her directly 10th and hoping to complete it regularly. Can you please tell me what is the age limit for 10th in Telangana state. Give any idea, if possible, hoping for good & early reply.

The age limit required to get admission for pursuing 10th standard in Telangana state is 14 years as on 31st March of the year of admission. But, to get admission in 10th standard, you should have passed 9th standard from a recognised board. After completion of your 10th standard academic year, you can appear in 10th standard board examinations.

To appear for 10th standard examination a candidate age should be within 14.5 years to 16.5 years.
It is not advisable to skip 7th,8th and 9th standards and take direct admission to 10th standard as a candidate may not be comfortable with the difficulties and burden of 10th standard syllabus.Education system is formulated in a systematic way, candidates should follow the same step by step.
However if you really want to admit you sister direct to 10th standard by skipping all those classes, the NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) would be the best option for it as because no regular schools allow direct admission to 10th standard.

Look, the minimum age limit for 10th standard is minimum 15 years. But your ward must have to qualify 9th standard first because in CBSE schools, the registration of students will be held in the 9th standard, so 9th standard is important for your ward to be promoted in 10th.

The maximum age limit to get admission in 10th standard is that the candidate should have attained the minimum age of 14 years as it is the minimum eligibility criteria.

Any candidate below the age of 14 years will not be allowed to appear for 10th board examinations.

According to my knowledge without passing 9th it is not possible to pursue 0th. You can continue without 7th and 8th. But you need to go through 9th as because there are registration to be done in 9th class. That is why passing 9th class is important and age does not matter but the minimum age limit is 15 years. Upper age limit is not required as well as not necessary in any state.

The age criteria for class 10th is a minimum 14 years and maximum 16 years. But your sister can not take admission in class 10th directly.

For taking admission in class 10th one must have passed class 9th exam. Whatever a candidate study in class 9th is a base for class 10th.
No any board or university will allow to get admission directly in class 10th.

My son born on February 2008 .now he completed his 5th and his age 10.4 for June 6th standard. He unable to study .feels burden. Not catching basics properly. Would I retain the same class in another school.any problems will arise for 10th class due to adhar link..

What is the minimum age for admission of a child into LKG in telangana private schools

Totally confused with all different answers...some saying 14 years by 31 march, some say 15 years by Sep end and some saying there is no age limit for CBSC.... is there any authentic webpage (SSC Board - Telangana or CBSC) stating the age limit ? if any one has the links please share here...

What should be the minimum age to get admission for lkg in cbse schools

due to unavoidable reasons i discontinued my education at 6th standard now my age is 33 years , now i wanted to write exams for class 10th and above.please help me to pursue my educational passion again.
