To become Teacher in Government Schools of Bihar, you are required to give Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by Bihar Government. Basically this Bihar State Teachers Eligibility Test is conducted for the posts of Teachers (Primary Teachers) or Secondary or Upper Primary Teachers.

Eligibility For Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test:

>> The minimum educational qualification required for Primary Teachers posts is "12th Class with minimum 50% marks" along with the Diploma in Education.

>> The minimum educational qualification required for Secondary Teacher posts is "Graduate Degree with minimum 50% marks" along with Bachelor of Education course.

To become a teacher in the Bihar government schools. The candidates have to qualify in the STET ( State Teacher Eligibility Test ) entrance examination conducted by the state education board.
