Whether TET Exam is necessary for becoming Class IX Teachers or not?

TET stands for Teacher eligibility test and it is the entrance examination which one has to clear for becoming a teacher in the government schools. Generally there are two types of TET one conducted by Central government for recruitment in the Central government aided schools and other held by the State government for the recruitment of teachers in their respective state government schools.

Yes as it is mentioned in above paragraph, cracking the TET is must required for becoming a teacher in any government schools. Also as you are interested to become a teacher of the Class IX which comes in secondary school so you must have B.Ed degree or any teacher training course with you also. But up to Class VIII there is no requirement of B.Ed course.

Also if you have not done B.Ed then to pursue the same you must have a bachelor degree with at least 50% aggregate in the same from a recognized university. B.Ed course is important because it teaches the way of providing knowledge in easier manner and what must be the relationship between teachers and their students so that student can extract maximum from them.
