NDA-National Defence Academy.
NDA exam conducted by the UPSC two times in one year i.e NDA-I and NDA-II.


Educational qualification:-


12th standard or any equivalent is the minimum educational qualification.

For Indian airforce and navy you must have to complete 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects, but there is no restrictions on percentage.


Nationality:-

Applicant must be a citizen of India,

Or

A subject of bhutan,

Or

A subject of nepal,

Or

A tibetian refugee who came over india permanently.


Gender:-

Must be a male and unmarried.

Age criteria:-

Applicant age must be in between 16.5years to 19 years.

There is no upper age relaxation.


Physical standards:-



Selection stages:-

Written exam,

SSB interview,

Medical test.

Syllabus:-

Mathematics--> 300 marks,

General ability--> 600 marks.

Total 900 marks.

The Union Public Service Commission conducts the NDA Examination twice in a year for the selection of candidates in the following wings of Defense :

* Indian Army

* Indian Navy

* Indian Air Force

The Examinations are conducted in the months of April and August every year as NDA-I and NDA-II respectively.

If you have completed 12th standard from recognized board then you are applicable for NDA exam.Final year of 12th candidate can apply here .
