NDA stands for National Defence Academy. Every year UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) is going to conduct NDA Exam twice a year in order to recruit the candidates into various Defence services like
-Army wing
-Navy wing
-Air Force wing

In order to be eligible for this exam, one shoudl have completed 12th class from a recognized board.

One should be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years in order to be eligible for this exam.

For this academic year, UPSC has completed both the NDA Exams.

Here I am providing you all the important dates regarding both the NDA Exams of upcoming year.

NDA I Exam :
-Date of commencement of notification : 31-12-2011
-Last date for the receipt of completed application forms : 30-01-2012
-Date of NDA I Exam : 15-04-2012

NDA II Exam :
-Date of commencement of notification : 05-05-2012
-Last date for the receipt of completed application forms : 04-06-2012
-Date of NDA II Exam : 19-08-2012

National Defence Academy


NDA exam conduct by UPSC two time in every year for Army Wing,Air Force and Naval Wings.

Qualification:-for Army Wing candidate should be pass 12th class by a state education board or university and Air Force and Naval Wings candidate should be pass 12th class with Physics and Mathematics,by a state education board or university.

Age:- only unmarried male candidate whose age between 16.5 to 19 years.

notification will announce for the exam publish in employment news/rozgar samachar dated on 31.12.2011.

Fee:-Candidates applying online are required to pay a reduced fee of Rs 50 Rs only.if Candidates applying off-line are required to pay a fee of 100 Rs. SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of fee.

Last date for Online Application:-30.01.2012 (MONDAY)
Last date for Off-line application:- must reach before 30.01.2012 by post/speed post only.

The candidate must have complete the 12th with 60% marks..

For Navy:-
The candidate must have complete the 12th with physics , chemistry , maths with 60% marks..

For Air force:-
The candidate must have complete the 12th with physics , maths..

Age criteria:-

The age should be in between 16.5-19 years.

After these two exams you have to clear the interviewer session and then they select you and give you the post according to your performance.

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

After qualifying this exam you will get commission in defence sector:-
-ARMY
-AIR FORCE
-NAVY

You should have complete 12th class with PCM stream from a recognized university.
And your age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.
For Indian Army wings:
You should have complete 12th class with any stream from a recognized university.
And your age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.

Important dates for NDA exam:
NDA-I exam notification:
Issuing of application form from 31st Dec 2011 to 30th Jan 2012.
Exam will held on 15th April 2012.
NDA-II exam notification:
Issuing of application form from 5th May 2012 to 4th June 2012.
Exam will held on 19th August 2012.
