UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) is going to conduct NDA Exam twice a year. One can join into the following defence services after succesful cracking the exam
-Army wing
-Naval wing
-Air Force wing

For thia academic year, UPSC has completed both the NDA Exams and the result of NDA II Exam has not been announced yet.

In order to be eligible for NDA Exam, you should have completed 12th class from a recognized board and you should be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years.

If you are interested, you can appear for upcoming NDA Exam which is going to be conducted in the next academic year.

Here I am providing you the important dates of upcoming NDA Exam.

-Date of announcement of notification : 31-12-2011
-Last date for the receipt of completed application forms : 30-01-2012
-Date of upcoming NDA Exam : 15-04-2012.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NDA EXAM

Those candidate have completed their 12th standard are eligible for NDA exam.

But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

Only unmarried male candidate are applicable.

SELECTION PROCEDURE FOR NDA EXAM:-

1) Written test which is conducted by UPSC.

2)Personal Interview.

EXAM DATE FOR NDA EXAM:-

Date of commencement of notification : 31-12-2011
Last date to receive completed application forms : 30-01-2012
Date of NDA I Exam : 15-04-2012

The last date for submission of form is already over.The last date was 9th May,2011.
You can try next year.NDA exam is conducted twice in a year.

National Defense Academy (NDA) exam is conducted by upsc twice in a year to intake qualified Candidate for different department in Defense service like Indian Airforce, Indian Navy,Indian Army.

Eligibility criteria for NDA-I/NDA-II exam:
Education qualification: Minimum candidate should complete 12th class with PCM stream.
Age Limit: Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.
Citizenship: Indian

NDA-I and NDA-II exam are conducted twice in year, because the person who was not able to attend for NDA-I exam, he can apply for NDA-II exam in the same year, without having gap between the education.

NDA-I exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 31st Dec 2011 to 30th Jan 2012.
Exam will held on 15th April 2012.
NDA-II exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 5th May 2012 to 4th June 2012.
Exam will held on 19th Aug 2012.

Last Date for Form Submission for NDA

The NDA exam is conducted twice a year in the months of April and August..

The forms for the next NDA exam which is going to be conducted on 15th April,2012..shall be released on 31st December,2011 and the last date of receipt of the completed application forms is 30th January,2012..

You can avail the forms from your nearest post office..

Candidates who have passed their class 12th from a recognized board and are within the age limit of 16.5 - 19 years are eligible for appearing in the NDA exam..

You need to clear the written exam first before clearing the interview and the medical examination..

The written exam shall test you on the following topics..

General Knowledge
Basic Maths
English

You need to be physically fit and should have a perfect eyesight..

NDA stands for National Defence Academy which is conducted twice in a year by UPSC.
