Sir,
I am civil engineering student doing my B.tech 3rd year and would like to do my summer internship in bhel or in government sectors. So please guide me with your precious information and please convey the details how to apply for the internship. Please help me.

BHEL is one of the best government organisations for the engineers. So, in order to apply for internship in BHEL at first you have to fill up the training form available in your college. Then you have to get a recommendation letter and a NOC from the training and placement cell of your college. Prepare a resume, attach the training form, the letter and address it to the general manager of the HR development centre of BHEL.

If you know someone working there then you can apply through their reference. But, personal application without any reference will be neglected.

You will receive an acknowledgement letter if your resume gets selected. Now get the NOC signed by the principal of your college, attach the relevant documents, the letter and send it again to the company. Next, an entrance examination will be conducted to select the eligible candidates.

BHEL does not have any fixed interview process. Sometimes they interview the candidates over the telephone and sometimes they will ask you to show the reference letter prepared by the employee of BHEL if you apply through employee referral.

You have to pay a sum of (approximately) Rs. 500/- per week for internship in BHEL. After clearing the examination and screening you can start your training.
