Is it necessary to study Mathematics in 12th Humanities to apply for CLAT?


Hello,
Can somebody tell me I need
Mathematics as a subject in Humanity
stream in 11th and 12th standard for applying in CLAT?

No, there is no necessity to pursue Mathematics in 12th Humanities to apply for CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) Entrance Examination. CLAT Examination is conducted for admission in B.A.LLB, B.Sc LLB, BBA LLB, B.Com LLB, B.S.W LLB course in the Under Graduate Program. Candidates who have completed or appearing 12th Class Examination are certainly eligible to appear in CLAT Examination. Here is the Educational Qualification required for Under Graduate Programs as prescribed by CLAT officials,

Educational Qualification Required:

For U.G Program:

* A Candidate must have obtained "Higher Secondary School" Or "Intermediate" in 10+2 Pattern or its equivalent certificate in ANY DISCIPLINE from a recognized board with not less than 45% marks in aggregate (for General and OBC Category Candidates) and 40% in case of SC and ST Candidates.

Age Criteria:

Maximum age - 20 years (As on 1st July of Academic Year)

Maximum age - 22 years (In case of SC/ ST and PWD)

No, it is not necessary to study Mathematics in your 12th standard to be eligible to apply for CLAT examination. Eligibility criteria requited to appear in CLAT examination is mentioned below :-

--> You must have obtained Higher Secondary School/ Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent certificate with not less than an aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ ST) marks from a recognized Board.

--> You should be under 20 years of age as on 1st July of the year of examination. In case of SC/ST and Persons with Disability candidates, the candidate's should be below 22 years of age.

No, CLAT exam doesn't require mathematics in 12th standard.

CLAT is stands for Common Law Admission Test. This exam is conducted for admission for LLB & LLM course.

If you have completed 12th standard from any stream with above 50% marks from a recognized board then you are eligible to attend in CLAT exam for admission in Under graduate course.

The candidate age should not be more than 20 Years for under graduate course.
