Yes, there are special scholarships available for single girl child. They are CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child and Postgraduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child for PG Programs. CBSE Merit Scholarships are offered to the single girl students and have passed CBSE Class X examinations with 60% or more marks and are continuing their further studies. PG Indira Gandhi Scholarships for Single Girl Child are offered to the girl students without having any brother and are studying Postgraduate course in regular mode. Girl students up to the age of 30 years at the time of admission in the post graduation course are eligible for PG Indira Gandhi Scholarships for Single Girl Child.
