What are the scopes of higher studies after IT Engineering?. I am very much interested to go for higher studies

There are a lot of opportunities for higher studies after IT Engineering.
You can prepare for GATE, GRE, GMAT, CAT, MS among other exams.
Clearing GATE exam will enable you to increase your technical knowledge of IT.
With MS, GMAT, GRE you an go abroad to study while CAT and other exams like FMS, XAT, MAT will help you get into business school provided you have secured the eligible marks for the exams.

After doing Engineering you can just go to job. If you are interested to continuing in your higher studies just do it. As you learn so you earn. Your higher studies will give you more money. Some of the higher studies for
IT engineers will be M.E., M.tech, MCA, MS, Phd etc.

After Engineering there is two ways to go for higher studies .
1.Through GATE you can join NITs,IITs .
2.Through GRE exam you can join the universities of abroad .
GRE exam is little easy to crack then GATE .But the value of study and scholarship depends on the university .I you can't get admission in a well ranked university then it is totally a mess .
GATE covers the total syllabus of your technical study .If your technical concepts and knowledge is not strong then you can't crack the exam .If you can get admission in the IITs,NITs,state Govt. universities then you can get good placements and scholarships upto 10,000/- .

Not it depends on your interest ,inwhich way you want to go .But I think GATE is better .
