i registered for GATE EXAM through online yesterday, to get my acknowledgment where i have to check.......

you acknowlegement card will be posted to you very soon
or they(IIT) will send it to your email address

As you have filled the form of GATE then you should wait for some days for Acknowledgement card.

If you didn't make an mistake in online form of GATE then you will get your acknowledgement card very shortly, otherwise you will be alert for the mistakes through acknowledgement card.

lets me clear that the acknowledgement card is send only after if you filled up the

application form trough the offline and for that application fee is 1000 rs for the general

candidates.but in the case of the on lin eapplication form there is no any

acknowledegement card is send,

there will be no acknowledgement card,
you will directly get the addmission card to your address

to get GATE Exam Acknowledgement after filling the form online, you have to check the your local gate official site.

where you have to put your application number. and through which you can get the GATE Exam Acknowledgement.

there is no any procedure to check whether your acknowledgement card has issued to you or not. dont worry if you are not received your acknowledgement card yet. just keep preparing for exam and wait for your admit card . your admit card will surely reach to you in time.

you will get GATE examination acknowledgment after 10th December 2010, from your IIT GATE zonal website. also if you want to make some change you may do that.

but now you will be only able to see that your application is reached there or not. for this go to the website of your IIT GATE zonal office website. then go to GATE examination. then click to application status and give the application number. then you will be able to see the confirmation.

to see the payment confirmation go to the IIT website and log in in GATE examination page with your log in id and password. then you will be able to see the payment confirmation.

one can only receive its acknowledgement card. if they fill up the form offline.

but no worries as you can check all the informations needed on the login id that you used for filling up the form.

For candidates, who registered and applied online through their website will not get any hardcopy of acknowledgement like other exams. But you can check your acknowledgement of application statuse,whether it was reached at corresponding IIT office through this link:
http://www.gate.iitb.ac.in/gate2011/appstat.php
Here you just need to type your 7 digit application number and click on 'view status' button to know the status. It will tell you whether you form of GATE is reached to IIT office or not.

it will come to ur address that address which u gave on the form while filling it
chek the date it would reach he last

accidently i posted my form in a rectangular envelope instead of an A-4 envelope could that be a ground for the rejection of my form in GATE???
