I want to know the Difference between MCA and MSc(IT). Why people preferred MCA instead of MSc(IT). Why Companies give more exposure to MCA

is M.Sc(IT) good from professional institute of recognized university like punjab techanical uni.,lovely professional uni.,etc

hello, i am Navita Gautam from Kullu H.P. I am doing M.sc.(IT) through dinstance education from C.V.Raman university. Can i do 1 year MCA through distance edu. after completion of 2 year M.sc(IT) ? Is it will be equivalent to 3 year MCA course ? what is difference between regular education and distance education ? is both of same value ? what will be compnies prefer most ?

I done my msc it from distance bt now i want to do mca from regular. Is this possible??? N how much time it consume to complete my mca???

Hi Dear
M.SC Master degree in computer science which is related to hardware & software. On the other hand MCA related to software application .Duration period of both is 2 years.Mostly MNC's companies selected MCA candidates because in today's era software is much importance other than hardware.If you want to be career in software then you have to do surely MCA Master in Computer administration.
