Re: I got 48% in +2 can i apply for Canada visa?
You must have completed class 12 with a minimum of 70 to 80% or more if you have a science/commerce stream or 65% or above if you are in the humanities stream in order to study in Canada.
Also, You must receive a minimum of 5.5 bands overall and 6.0 or more in each of the four IELTS sections for undergraduate courses in order to qualify for a Canada Student Visa. To study in Canada for graduate courses, you must receive a score of 6.5 bands, with a minimum of 6.0 in each of the four components. If you satisfy the above eligibility criteria, then you are eligible to apply for a Canada visa. |

Re: I got 48% in +2 can i apply for Canada visa?
The minimum percentage required for science and commerce stream candidates are 70-80 % and for humanities its 60-70%. However, your marks are not enough to get the visa for Canada Visa. However, you can apply as the rules change from time to time and also if you score more than band 5.5 in International English Language Testing System(IELTS) examination then could be a probability of getting education visa.

Re: I got 48% in +2 can i apply for Canada visa?
No absolutely not. A less than 50% grade is a failing grade and there is no University in Canada that will grant you admission.
If you are applying for a diploma then around 60% is required in 12th, though there are some colleges which accept students with 55%. If you are applying for a bachelors degree at a University, you need to have minimum 70% along with a SAT/ACT score. |

Re: I got 48% in +2 can i apply for Canada visa?
To apply for a Canadian student visa, you would typically need to meet the admission requirements of a Canadian university or college, as well as meet the eligibility criteria for the visa. While different universities and colleges may have different minimum entry requirements, it is generally expected that international students have a strong academic record and meet the minimum eligibility criteria.
In Canada, the minimum academic requirement for undergraduate courses is usually a high school completion certificate or equivalent. This usually requires a minimum score of 50% or above in the qualifying exams. However, to be competitive for admission to most universities, you would typically need to have a higher academic record. A 48% score in +2 standard is relatively low compared to the academic requirements of most Canadian universities. However, if you have other qualifications or work experience that demonstrate your potential and commitment to your chosen field of study, you may still be considered for admission. I would recommend that you research the admission requirements of the universities and courses that you are interested in and contact their admissions offices for more information on how to apply and the minimum academic requirements. Some universities may also offer pathway programs or other options that can help you improve your academic record and meet the admission requirements. Regarding the visa eligibility, to apply for a Canadian student visa, you would typically need to provide proof of acceptance from a Canadian university or college, proof of financial support, and meet certain health and security requirements. The requirements can vary depending on your country of citizenship and other factors, so I would recommend that you check the Canadian government's official immigration website or consult with a licensed immigration consultant for more information. |
