Whether the children of NRI is eligible for NC-OBC certificate if the annual income of NRI is around 9 Lakhs Indian Rupees but belongs to OBC category ?

The eligibility criteria for obtaining a Non-Creamy Layer (NC-OBC) certificate in India varies from state to state. However, in general, the following criteria are usually considered for granting NC-OBC certificates:

• Caste: The applicant must belong to a socially and educationally backward class that is recognized as OBC by the government.
  
• Income: The annual income of the applicant's family, including that of all family members, should not exceed the prescribed income limit set by the government. This limit is revised from time to time and may vary across states.

In the case of Non-Residential Indians (NRIs), the eligibility criteria would depend on the specific state and the local authorities that are responsible for issuing the certificates. However, if the NRI's annual income is around 9 lakhs INR, it may not be considered as a part of the NC-OBC category as the income limit for this category is usually lower than that.
