GBTU SEE is the examination which is held in every month of April for the admission in the engineering colleges of Utter Pradesh. The examination is a common paper for different engineering & pharmacy colleges of the state. Lucknow is the main centre for examination. Both government and private funded colleges takes admission through this test.

Qualification for appearing in this exam:

Minimum eligibility for appearing in this test is class 12 from a recognised board or institution of India. Overall percentage of marks should be 50% in class 12 examination. Students of all over India can apply for the entrance test. Also, there should not be any backlog in any of the subject in class 12.

Scoring and Negative Marking:

Questions asked are of same marks, each question is a multiple choices type question. There is no negative marking in the paper.

Mode of Exam:

Paper is a conventional type paper and this is required to be solved on an OMR sheet with a blue/black pen.

Format:

There are 150 questions of objective type and each question carries same marks. There are 4 choices for every question to choose.

Paper Pattern:

Paper of Mathematics is of objective type questions in it. Every question carries equal marks. Each question is of 4 choices to choose from. Questions asked are of class 12 standard. Though there is no provision of negative marking as penalty.

Marking:

Question paper is of 600 marks and there are question of equal marks. In a question, there may be one or more than one correct answer.

Schedule:

Paper is needed to be finished in 3 hours.
