Mazagon Dock Limited has called for applications from eligible candidates for the positions of Probationary Officers (HR) and Finance Officer and here are the details regarding the notification issued by the company in this respect:

Name of the Vacancy: Probationary Officers (HR) and Finance Officer

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 12, which is divided among the different two vacancies as follows:

• Finance Officer – 08

• Probationary Officer (HR) - 04

Period of Probation for probationary officer position: One year

Pay scale: Candidates appointed for the both positions, will be coming under the pay band E-1 with a pay scale of Rs.16400-40500.

Eligibility requirements:

Education for Finance Officer: Candidates must have completed their ICWA/CA or they must have completed their two-year full-time PG diploma in Management/MMS/MBA with specialization in finance from a recognized university/institution. Candidates must be computer literates and working knowledge of computers in ERP Environment would be an added advantage.

Education for Probationary Officer (HR): Candidates must have completed their two-year full-time PG degree/diploma from an institution recognized by AICTE in:

• Social work/labor welfare/social welfare with PM and on IR

• Personnel management and or industrial relations with social work/social welfare/labour welfare

• Labour and social welfare or labour studies or labour welfare or PM & IR or Human Resource Management or Management studies

• MBA with Personnel Management/HR or IR awarded by a recognized institute

Age: Age limit to apply for both positions is 26 as on the 30th of March 2012. Upper age limit is relaxable by five years for SC/ST candidates and three years for OBC (non-creamy layer). For EXS candidates, age relaxation is applicable according to the number of years of service and for employees of MDL age relaxation of five years is applicable.

Selection Procedure:

Eligible candidates will be selected based on their performance in objective type written test inclusive of psychometric test and the tests will be held only at Mumbai. Written test will be held for 80 marks and interview will be held for 20 marks and final selection of candidates will be on the basis of performance in written test and interview.

Application fee of Rs.250 should be sent in the form of DD drawn in favor of the Mazagon Dock Limited payable at Mumbai and SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
