Guru Nanak National College came into existence in the year 1974 and the college is offering different courses with affiliation from the Panjab University. The land for the construction of this college was allotted in the year 1971 and the foundation stone was laid on the 8th of September 1972.

Library at the college:

Guru Nanak College has a well-equipped central library with separate library facility for girl students. The library has a collection of more than 30,000 books and it is subscribing for 95 magazines in different languages like Hindi, Punjabi and English and 18 newspapers. The library has recently been fully computerized and the library has also earned membership from British library.

Admission rules:

Guru Nanak National College admits students on provisional basis according to the approval of the Punjab University located in Chandigarh. During the admission process if a candidate is declared ineligible, the college will not be responsible for the same. Therefore, it would be better if the candidates check the eligibility criteria before applying to any course.
