Profile:
Border Security Force (BSF) was established on December 1, 1965. The head quarter of the force is located at CGO Complex, Lodhi Road in the state of delhi. It is a component of the paramilitary forces of india. The major objective behind the establishment of the BSF was to provide a force wjose primary role is to guard the international borders of the country during peace time. The force is also one of the many law enforcement agencies of India.
Job Profile:
Eligible male candidates can apply for the posts of Head Constable and Assistant Sub Inspector in the Border Security Force.
Eligibility:
Candidates should be between 18 to 25 years of age for applying for both the posts available in the Border Security Force.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have attained the minimum educational qualification required for the posts of Head Constable as well as the posts of Assistant Sub Inspector.
No. of posts:
Head Constable: 504 posts
Assistant Sub-Inspector: 141 posts
Pay Scale:
Head Constable: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay of Rs.2400
Assistant Sub Inspector: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay of Rs.2800
Selection Procedure:
Both written examination and personal interview constitutes the selection process for the above specified posts of Head Constable and Assistant Sub Inspector.
How to apply: Application form complete in all respect should be send alongwith a Crossed Bank Draft for Rs. 50/- (only for Gen and OBC category candidates) in favour of The Inspector General or DIG/Comdt payable at respective SBI to the Directorate General Border Security Force (BSF).
