Indo Tibetan Border Police has been shielding us since 1962. It has been protecting our borders and our country against our enemies or any other illegal activity and also restores the peace of an area in case of any disturbance. It is currently covering an area of 3500 Kms. It is respected and saluted for its commendable work.

Job Profile:

Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for applying for the position of Head Constable (Telecommunication) in Indo Tibetan Border Police Force. The above specified post comes under Group C Non Gazetted category. The posts are to be filled on temporary basis but likely to become permanent. selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India or even abroad.

Eligibility:

Candidates should have age more than the prescribed minimum age limit i.e 18 years and also less than the prescribed maximum age limit i.e. 25 years. Candidates having age less than 18 years and more than 25 years, will not be considered eligible for the post at all. The upper age limit set for the post is relaxable by 5 years and 3 years for SC/St candidates and OBC category candidates, respectively.

Physical and Medical Standards:

Height and Chest: Height should be atleast 170 cms with chest 80 cms (minimum 5 cms expansion is must).
Weight: It should be corresponding to the hieght.
Eye Sight: Eye Sight should be 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without correction.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects from any recognized board. Candidates should have secured atleast 45% marks in aggregate in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. 10th class passedd candidates with two years Industrial Training Institute certificate in Electronics or Computer Science from a recognized institute, are also eligible for the post.

ST Category candidates: 45 posts.
OBC Category candidates: 68 posts.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be provided the prescribed amount of salary i.e. Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.

Application Fee:

General and OBC categories candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 50 only. SC/ST candidates are not required to submit anny kind of application fee. The application fee must be paid through an Indian Postal Order/Bank Draft drawn in favour of Inspector General, North West Frontier, ITBP payable at SBI AFS CHandigarh Code No. 1495.

Selection Process:

Selection process is comprises of three stages : i. Written Examination, ii. Personal Interview Test and iii. Medical Fitness test. Interested candidates should qualify in all these stages for getting selected on the specified post.
