The Company of Hexaware conducts placement test in most of the Institute across the nation. There are three rounds of selection in the Placement, namely the written round, GD and the Technical HR+. The written part of the placement paper has two parts, the first been the Aptitude + English + Reasoning and the other been the Technical. The written part has about one hundred questions and candidates are offered time duration of two hours. Each of the paper has sectional cut-off marks. Candidates clearing a definite cut-off from each of the sections are offered exemption for the next round of GD and Technical HR+.

In the written round, the paper have questions from different segments such as Electrical machines, AEC, control system, Microprocessor and DEC. However candidates who are Mechanical Engineers were not allowed undertaking exam. Only Short answer questions are asked in the paper. However few Multiple Types Questions are also offered in the paper. The First section of the paper is comparatively easy, but it is the Technical Section which offers questions relating to basic as well as fundamental concepts. Both the GD as well as HR+ are the elimination based rounds in which candidates are removed from.
