General guidelines for preparing for Bank Clerical Exam
Candidates who are preparing for bank clerical exam can make use of guides available for different clerical exams. Candidates can practice as many questions by going through the solved questions in these guides. This will help them to develop their skill to answer the questions correctly. Candidates can score well in English Language and General Awareness by reading newspaper and magazines. Reading such things will improve vocabulary and knowledge about current happenings. Students can also go for coaching center to improve their knowledge and skill.
Bank Clerical Exam Pattern
Objective type questions will be asked for bank clerical exams. Multiple choices of answers will be given from which the candidates have to choose the right answer. Question paper will include different sections having fixed number of questions. Five sections will be there for all clerical exams such as Reasoning, Numerical Ability, English Language, General Awareness and Computer knowledge. These clerical exams demand separate cut-off for each section to qualify the exam. Negative marking will not be applicable for some exams and will be applicable for some other exams. In exams like IBPS clerical exam, ¼ marks will be deducted from the total marks on giving wrong answer.
Set up a full proof study Plan
Early preparation should be needed to score well in the clerical exam as it is very competitive exam. Therefore it is better to start the preparation at least before three months. Candidates should prepare with a study plan which utilize the available time to study all the subjects needed for the exam. Study plan will help the students to study different subjects each day with a specific time. This will help them to develop an idea about every subject. Candidates who strictly follow the study plan can finish their subjects before the exam.

Candidates should possess good time management while attempting a question. They can develop this ability only through practicing many questions. Coaching center will also help the students to develop good time management.
