Application Procedure for doing Masters in Animal Science

Students who are pursuing Master of Agriculture in Animal Sciences Abroad will have to apply for joining the course online. They will also have to reimburse a non refundable fee which can be paid online through credit cards or through money order. The application form submitted by the candidates must be supported with the standardized GRE test scores also. The students whose mother tongue isn’t English are also required to submit Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores. International students need to submit their online applications 3 months prior to the beginning of the term.

Eligibility Criteria to apply for Master of Agriculture in Animal Science

Students who are considering getting admission to Master of Agriculture in Animal Sciences must have compulsorily completed a bachelors’ degree in animal sciences or an interrelated stream with good academic eminence at the institution last attended. The candidates with a grade point average (GPA) of a minimum 3.0 on all undergraduate subjects are only considered for admission to the Masters program. GRE scores is another eligibility criterion in the admission process.

Exam Qualification Criteria for admission to Masters in Animal Science

The candidates who are appearing in the GRE exam must manage to score more than 1000 which in a combination Verbal and Quantitative aptitude. In both verbal and Quantitative test no individual subject must have a score less than 400.

Applicants, whose native language isn’t English, must demonstrate their efficiency in TOEFL. The candidate must have more than 550 in the written exam and 213 in the computer based TOFLE and 79 internet TOEFL (iBT). The scores will vary according to the institution, country and courses one plans to join. Depending on the country, like UK, candidates can also appear in the IELTS International English Language Testing System.
