The Institute for Financial Management and Research (IFMR), Chennai was established in the year 1970 and is considered to be one of the most prestigious and eminent management institutes of the country. The institute has the proud recognition of being an Institution of National Importance by the Ministry of Finance. The institute is in academic terms with various educational institutes and since its beginning aims at providing the best education for proper development of the students as well as the nation.

Campus

The infrastructure of the college is highly modernized. The campus of the institute is spread in an area of 1.5 acres of land with various facilities which include well stocked and maintained library with CDs, magazines, journals; advanced air conditioned classrooms with audio visual aid; conference room; separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls; study hall; canteen and recreational hall.
