IITTM 2011
The Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management is one of the most recognized institute and has been established by the Ministry of Tourism as per approved by the Government of India. The Institute has commenced a program termed “Earn while you learn” and belongs to the Common wealth games that took place in the last year of 2010.
The Institute has conducted this program in order to install feeling of awareness as well as to offer few basic knowledge to the candidate and even laden them with high skills on the Tourism aspects and all in all, can help them to be established and even work as a student volunteer. The Institute, as per on behalf of the Ministry of Tourism and Indian Government offers application form to the interested candidates for a 21 days of training program. The Program is recognized with an ongoing activity as per under the CBSP scheme.
The Institute has been awarded for establishing such a unique concept for the incredible India as the Institute was recognized as the brain child of such a fancy and productive concept and this all turned the ears of the world towards the nation. The Institute has more than one or many locations across different cities, such as New Delhi, Gwalior, etc. Thus the Institute has provided a league in Tourism study and its various applications. The Institute kick started the program in 2010 and plans to continue in the 2011 year in order to better create individuals who are more acclimatized with individuals from foreign countries and offer warmer reception to tourists as well as the industry based on tourism.
Eligibility Criteria:
• Students pursuing graduation/post graduation between 18 and 25 years of age are eligible for this program.
• NOC from the college /University is required for joining this program.
Stipend:
• Every successful candidate will be paid Rs. 1000/-for this program.
Selection Criteria:
• Selection will be done on the basis of Written Examination at IITTM Pusa Center, New Delhi.
Post Graduate Program:
The program of study aims at preparing graduates for taking up employment in a business organization or self employment and / or carrying forward their family businesses. There is a strict holding upon attendance as only 15% of the total classes can be missed.
Placement:
The placement cell located in the Institute contains various placement personals as well as four representatives that come from the program itself. The representative are the students itself that bring about the change. To meet the increasing demands of fast emerging business scenarios ,the institute put best of its effort to enhance skills and honing the abilities of the students to the desirable level. Regular Personality Development programmes, workshops and seminars are conducted to prepare the students fully to face the placement process.
