Educational Qualification
The candidates who have passed qualifying degree examinations and have a bachelor’s degree in engineering/ technology from any recognized university are the one who are eligible. The percentage score should be around 65% whether there are from general or OBC category whereas for SC/ST/PH securing a pass class is enough. Candidate who is appearing for the final examination can also apply but they must be capable of producing the final mark sheet at the time of joining.
Basic Requirements
The candidate must be maximum of 26 years old older than this are not applicable. The candidate must be physically sound and fit.
Selection Process
The score of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineers (GATE) 2010 is a criterion which helps them to short list the candidate. After that one has to go for Group Discussion / Group Task Personal Interview for assessment of different facets of knowledge, skill, attitude and aptitude. The candidate needs to pass through all these stages in order to be selected. The selected candidate can be posted to any division and have to sign a bond. The bond amount varies for general and SC/ST category.
How to apply
The candidate needs to sit for the upcoming GATE examination which is scheduled to be held on February. Then take a score card and go through further selection process. The last date for an online application is 13th February, 2010.
