Re: What should I do after passing B.Com?
Along with graduation you can apply for various jobs in Government as well as Private sector. Since you have financial problem, it is better to prepare for competitive exams and start your career in public sector organizations. You can join any coaching center for exams conducted by banks and UPSC which will be available in affordable cost. Apart from this you can go for higher studies in Open Universities. Course fee in IGNOU is comparatively lesser than other institutes.

Re: What should I do after passing B.Com?
If you have financial problems then you should consider applying for the job instead of further studies. All I am suggesting is that it is one of the options in front of you. Below are some of the jobs for which you can apply.
The jobs mainly are in the governemnt sector therefore it is necessary that you appear for the entrance exam. The best option according to me would be Civil Service Examination. You can apply for the post of IAS/IPS officer by appearing in the Civil Service Examination. Both are very reputed jobs while IAS is related to administration, IPS deals in the law and order area. The pay is extremely well and there are various it comes with additional perks like big government house and government car. Eligibility 1. A bachelor degree in any stream. 2. The age limit is 21 to 30 years. 3. Age limit for OBC is 33 years and 35 years for SC/ST. BANK PO Another good option comes in the banking sector. You can apply for the Bank PO exam by the IBPS. This exam is conducted to select PO for 19 Public Sector Banks in the country. The pay for PO is also good and since you have completed graduation, you should consider it. Eligibility 1. A bachelor degree in any stream. 2. Age limit is 20 to 30 years. 3. Age limit is relaxed for reserve category candidates. Now lets take a look at further educational options. B.Ed You can take Bachelor of Education course but only if you are interested in pursuing career as a school teacher. Ideally I would suggest that if you have scored 50 percent marks in graduation then you should give it a thought. You can appear for teaching exams for jobs in state and central government schools. M.Com Master in Commerce is also very affordable option. Once you complete the degree I would suggest applying for the National Eligibility Test conducted by the Univesity Grants Commission. This exam is conducted for the lecturer job in central government colleges. But to be eligible you will need at least 55 percent marks. MCA It may not be as affordable as some of the other exams but surely can provide a good carrer. Master of Computer Applications is your ticket to MNC IT companies in the country. However only if you manage to complete the course with at least 65 percent marks. CA You can also consider Chartered Accountancy course. It is also very affordable and if you have completed B.Com with 55 percent marks then you will get direct admission in the second stage of the course which is IPCC. In other case you will first have to apply for the CPT. |

Re: What should I do after passing B.Com?
Hi Friend.............
B-com is a good course which has lot of job opportunities across India. Every company requires an accountant, hence you do not have to worry. Before that are you sure, your brother do not want to continue his studies. The more his qualification is, the better job he gets. Following are some of the career opportunities for a B-com graduate : Accountant : This is the main field into which all commerce graduate goes. It is better to join in a small organization first, so that he can learn all the accounting practicals from there. In big companies, a person will be assigned to do only one section of the accounting job. He will not be able to learn the other sections. Therefore it is better to start from a small company. Jobs in Banks : This is also a related job but to get a job in a bank, your brother will have to pass an exam conducted by the bank or government. Administrative Jobs : A graduate in any field can look for administrative jobs. This will gain him experience. If required, he can pursue higher education as well. |
