Jagdish Chandra DAV College shortly called as J.C.D.A.V. College came into existence on the 15th of July 1971. The college is offering education under different faculties under the able guidance of Panjab University located at Chandigarh.

Eligibility Criteria:

Admission to PGDCA course is open to candidates, who have completed their degree course in any discipline with not less than 50% of marks. For M.A in English, admission is open for candidates who have secured 50% of marks in B. Sc or B.A with English as a subject. As far as M. Sc courses are concerned, candidates must have secured 50% of marks in the Bachelor of Science in appropriate disciplines as mentioned below:

• M. Sc zoology – B. Sc medical

• M. Sc Physics – B. Sc with physics

• M. Sc Chemistry – B. Sc (Medical/non-medical)

• M. Sc mathematics – B.A/ B. Sc with mathematics

• M. Sc Information Technology – B. Tech/B. E/B.C.A. with computer

Admission Procedure:

J.C.D.A.V. College admits students on the basis of marks secured by them in the qualifying examination. For M. Sc. physics, chemistry and zoology alone admission is done on the basis of marks secured by the students in the OCET test conducted by the Panjab University.
