Junior Assistants, Secunderabad Cantonment Board
Secunderabad Cantonment Board was initially under the control of British. The board is actually a civic administration agency for the city of Secunderabad, India. The president of the board is the one who is serving local military station commander. Secunderabad is considered as a class-I cantonment as per the Cantonment Act, 2006. A large part of Secunderabad city comes under the jurisdiction of the Secunderabad Cantonment Board. Secunderabad is considered to be the largest cantonment present in India in terms of geographical area and population.
Job Profile:
Applications are invited in the prescribed format from eligible candidates for the post of Junior Assistants in Secunderabad Cantonment Board. Candidates are advised to read all the eligibility conditions set for the post by the board.
Eligibility:
The minimum age limit set for the post is 18 years as on 10 June 2011.
The maximum age limit set for the post is 25 years as on 10 June 2011.
Reserved categories candidates may get relaxation on few years in the upper age limit set for the post as per the rules of Government of India.
Educational Qualification:
Interested candidates must have passed Intermediate or any equivalent examination from a recognized institute or university. Candidates should also have passed Government Technical Examination in type writing english. Preference will be given to the candidates possessing Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Those candidates, who possess basic knowledge of Windows or Linux, may get preference over other candidates. Candidates are required possess the minimum educational qualification set for the post.

SC category candidates: Only 3 posts are available.
ST category candidates: Only 1 post is available.
OBC category candidates: Only 7 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 8440-24950 per month will be given to the selected candidates.

Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the specified positions depending on their performance in the written examination and personal interview test with the selection committee.
