Haryana Staff Selection Commission was earlier named as Subordinate Services Selection Board. The commission was constituted under the provision of Article 309 of Constitution of India. The major function of the commission is to conduct written examinations and interview test for amking appointment on the Group ‘C’ posts. The commission is consist of total seven memebers which includes one Chairman. The appointment of the chairman is done by the Haryana Government. The head office of the commission is located at Panchkula. Mr. Vijay Kumar is the present chairman of the commission.

Job Profile:

Haryana Staff Selection Commission is going to conduct a competitive written examination and a interview test for making recruitment on the following vacant positions of Junior Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer (Mechanical) in different ministeries. All interested candidates must check their eligibility for the desired position before applying for it in Haryana Staff Selection Commission.

Eligibility:

The minimum age limit set for both the posts is 17 years.
The maximum age limit set for both the posts is 40 years.

Candidates are required to have age within the prescribed minimum age limit and maximum age limit. All candidates are required to follow this criteria or else their application will be discarded straightaway by the commission. There may be provided few years of relaxation in the maximum age limit, to candidates beloning to reserved categories.

Educational Qualification:

Junior Engineer (Civil): Candidates desiring to apply for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil) must possess Diploma in Civil Engineering with either Hindi or Sanskrit as a main subject upto Matric level.

Junior Engineer (Mechanical): Candidates desiring to apply for the post of Junior Engineer (Mechanical) must possess Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with either Hindi or Sanskrit as a main subject upto Matric level.

Junior Engineer (Mechanical): Total 50 posts are available.

Pay Scale:

Junior Engineer (Civil): Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 3600.
Junior Engineer (Mechanical): Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 3600.

Application Fee:

Candidates must submit the prescribed amount of application fee in the Haryana Government Treasury under the head “0051-H.P.S.C.-(103)- Staff Selection Commission, Haryana- Application Fee and other reciepts”. There is no concession of fee for SC/BS/ESM candidates who belongs to other states.

Amount of application fee for General candidates: Rs. 150 only
Amount of application fee for SC/BC/ESM/PH candidates of Haryana: Rs. 35 only

Candidates from other states will have to pay the application fee by the means of Postal Order made in favour of Secretary, Haryana Staff Selection Commission payable at Pachkula.
