Junior Engineer - I (Electrical) - Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited
Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited, shortly called as RRVPN came into existence in the year 2000 on the 19th of July. RRVPN was established by the Rajasthan Government and it was declared as a State Transmission Utility under the Provisions of Electricity Act 2003.
Recruitment by RRVPN:
RRVPN calls for applications from eligible candidates for the position of Junior Engineer (Electrical) to work in different power sector companies like Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd, Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd, Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd, Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd and Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Ltd in the state of Rajasthan.
Name of the Position: Junior Engineer (Electrical)
Number of Vacancies: Total number of Vacancies is 1323, which is divided as follows among the different categories
• SC – Open competition – 248, Female - 48
• ST – Open competition – 196, Female - 35
• OBC – Open competition – 150, Female - 60
• General – Open competition – 391, Female - 162
• SBC - Open competition – 09
• TST – SC – 2, ST - 22
Out of these positions, 55 posts are reserved for PH candidates and for detailed information regarding the division of position among the above-mentioned five power sector companies, candidates can visit http://rvpn.co.in/advertisement_Jen.pdf
Remuneration: Selected candidates will be engaged initially as Probationary Trainees for a period of two years and during this period, they will get a fixed pay or Rs.10000 per month. After completion of period of probation, they will be coming under the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 with GP of Rs.3200/.
Eligibility Details:
Educational Qualification: Candidates must be engineering graduates with not less than 60% of aggregate marks/AMIE with not less than 55% of marks in aggregate in either power plant engineering/power systems & high voltage/electrical & electronics/electrical engineering from a recognized Indian institution/university. Even candidates with equivalent degree from a foreign university declared as equivalent to engineering by competent authority are eligible to apply.
Age: Candidates must not be less than 21 years and more than 35 years of the date of submission of application.
Cost of Application:
The cost of Application is Rs.1000 for general category candidates and Rs.500 for reserved category candidates and this should be paid through challan from 12th July to 30th July in any branch of State Bank of Jaipur & Bikaner to the SBBJ Power Jyoti Account No. 61113250483 and the copy of the challan should be obtained from the bank for online application.
How to apply:
Candidates fulfilling the eligibility requirement, will have to apply through the website of any of the five power sector companies mentioned above between the 12th of July 2011 and 30th of July 2011 (upto 6 pm).
