The department of Health & Family Welfare of the Delhi Government is headed by the Principal Secretary, who is the controlling authority for the Directorate of Health Sciences of the department.

The Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi has invited applications from eligible candidates on contract basis for the position of Junior Specialists to work in different institutions and hospitals working under the Department of Health & Family Welfare of the government.

Pay Scale: Candidates selected for the position of Junior Specialist in any of the above-mentioned departments will get a fixed remuneration of Rs.63000 per month.

Age: Upper age limit applicable for the position of junior specialist is 45 years as on 2nd of September 2011
Mode of Selection:
Candidates will be selected for the post of medical officer based on their performance in the interview, which will be organized by the Dean of Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi.
Application fee:
The cost of application is Rs.1000 for general category candidates (SC/ST candidates are exempted from application fee). This amount should be paid through bank draft drawn in any scheduled bank in favor of the Dean, Maulana Azad Medical College payable at New Delhi. Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse side of the DD.
