Institute for Design of Electrical Measuring instruments is inviting applications from result-oriented and dynamic people in the appropriate fields for filling up various vacancies on contract basis and here are the details regarding the vacancies:

Name of the positions: Various positions

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 26, which is divided among different positions as follows:

1. Senior Stenographer – 01

2. Junior Technical Assistant – 11

3. Senior Draughtsman – 01

4. Junior Hindi Translator – 01

5. Stenographer – 01

6. Librarian – 01

7. Upper Division Clerk – 03

8. Technician (Skilled Worker) – 03

9. Junior Technician (Mistry) – 03

10. Lower Division Clerk – 01

For the position of Junior Technical Assistant alone, 04 posts are reserved for general category candidates, 2 posts are reserved for SC candidates, 04 posts are meant for OBC candidates and 01 post is reserved for ST candidates. For other positions, the available vacancies are for general category candidates.

Pay scale: Pay scales for the positions are:

For Position No. 1, the pay scale is fixed as PB-2, 9300-34800+ GP of Rs.4200, while for position Nos. 2,3 and 4, the pay scale is fixed as PB-1 with Rs.5200-20200 plus GP of Rs.2800, while for position Nos. 5,6,7 and 8,  the pay scale is fixed as PB-1 with Rs.5200-20200 plus GP of Rs.2400, while for the last two positions, pay scale is Rs.5200-20200 plus GP of Rs.1900.

Eligibility requirement:

Age requirement: For positions number 1 alone the maximum age limit is 35 years, while for other positions, the upper age limit is 30 years. The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST and internal candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
