Labour Officer - Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC)
Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) was established over 75 years back. A Central Public Service Commission was set up in India during the year 1923 by the recommendation of the Lee Commission. After a few years, separate Public Service Commissions were established in different States of the country. The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission was set up to fulfill the duties and functions prescribed in diverse Articles of the Constitution of India.
The primary functions of the TNPSC are to directly recruit deserving candidates for State, Subordinate and Ministerial services, strictly adhering to the policy of recruitment and reservation of the State Government. The Commission is also involved in conducting department examinations for Government Servants. The Commission advices the Government on matters relating to framing of recruitment rules, on matter related to making appointments, promotions and transfers. The TNPSC endeavors to upgrade the selection systems and procedures so as to select only the best applicants for the public services.

Eligibility:

Selection Process:
The selection for the post is through written examination.
