TNPSC VAO Exam 2010 - 2011 - Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has published notification to direct recruitment for TNPSC Village Administrative Officer - VAO Examination 2010. - 2011 Candidates who are interested may submit application before the last date. Selection procedure: written examination test.

Village Administrative Officer
Total Vacancies- 3884 in Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service, Salary Pay Scale : Rs.5,200 - 20,200 + Grade Pay Rs.2,000/- P.M, Age Limit : 21 to 30 years (Maximum 40 years for SC/ST/MBC/BCM and Widows)

Qualification : Must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies (or) to College Courses of studies.

Examination Fee : Rs.75/- should be paid only through any one of the Post offices in Tamil Nadu. (No fee for PH / Destitute Widows candidates)

Submission of Application: Last date for receipt of application: 28/12/2010 to the following address:Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, No.1. Greams Road, Chennai-600 006 on or before 5.45 PM

VAO is the Village Administration Officer and this is the examination which is conducted by the TNPSC and all desired and eligibility conditions which are mainly required in order to appear for the VAO are.

Required Eligibility for VAO are.

• Candidates should have attained 21 years and not exceed 30 years of age limit
• Age relaxations are as per the government specifications such as the SC|ST 40 years and Widows 40 years BC|MBC|BC(M) 40 years of age limit
• Should have to satisfy minimum educational qualifications such as the SSLC public examination or its equivalent examination
• Should have adequate knowledge in Tamil in order to appear for this examination

Through this VAO examination you will be appointed under the Village Administration officer like the VRO in AP and you will be taking care of some villages in which you are appointed.

VAO examination candidates will be short listed through two types of selection processes like

• Written test
• Interview
