Lady Brabourne College, Kolkata
Lady Brabourne College was one of the pre independence era women’s colleges of Kolkata. The college was named after the wife of Lord Brabourne. The college was established in July 1939 with a few numbers of Muslim students and faculties. The college is now one of the leading colleges of Kolkata as well as India. The college is situated in park circus. After establishment the college has come a long way proving its educational excellence. The college has very dedicated faculties, who are eagerly ready to help the students all the time. The students of the college have always maintained a very good result in the university examinations. The college has been awarded ‘A LEVEL’ by NAAC in the year 2006. Recently the college has celebrated its diamond jubilee in the year 1999.
Infrastructure: The college has an excellent infrastructure. With its large green environment the college creates an ideal environment for healthy education. The college provides the facilities of well endowed library, highly equipped laboratories, Auditorium, well organized class rooms & net facilities.
Courses offered: Undergraduate & post graduate courses are offered by the college, which are affiliated to Calcutta University. Undergraduate courses include science subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, Economics, and Geography & Computer Science. Arts subjects include Bengali, English, Sanskrit, Hindi, Urdu, Persian, Philosophy, and Sociology & Political Science. Post graduate courses include Geography, Physics, Mathematics & Microbiology& also English.
Admission Procedure: Admissions are purely based on marks obtained in +2 level. The minimum marks for application are clearly given in the official website of the college.

I want to admit for Statistic (hons). I have scored in Math - 89, Phys. 85, Chem. 87 & Stat. 82, Eng. 75 and the top 4 subjects aggregate comes to 85.75%. I believe I fulfil all the required criteria, however the online form submission website does not allow me to submit the form.

I want to apply for BA English(hons) and as per the criteria for SC/ST Candidates (For All Boards) the aggregate mention on the website is 40% or 40% in English.
I have scored 73% in English and the top 4 subjects aggregate comes to 69.5% and I fall into ST category.I believe I fulfil all the required criteria however the online form submission website does not allow me to submit the form.
