Medical Colleges:

Kolkata is a city with a number of medical colleges and hospitals as compared to any other cities in India. These colleges offer MBBS course at the under graduate level and several other diploma courses as well. These colleges are also offering MD and MS course in different branches of medicine and admission to the MBBS course in these colleges are made through All India Pre-Medical Test and also through West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. Of these medical colleges in the city, Nilratan Sircar Medical College is the first ever medical college in the city. There is also a Government medical college offering Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medical Science course in the city of Kolkata.

Engineering Colleges:

The government engineering college in the city of Kolkata offer engineering and technology courses at UG and PG level in different disciplines like computer science & engineering, information technology and several other branches as well. These colleges also offer Master of Business Administration and Master of Computer Application courses and most of these colleges admit students to the UG courses based on the performance of the students in the GATE/AIEEE examinations and admission to IIT is made through IIT JEE examination.

Law College:

Government Law College in the city of Kolkata called as South Calcutta Law College offers Bachelor of law (three-year course) and five-year integrated course in BA LLB. Admission to this college is done purely on merit basis based on the marks secured by the students in the higher secondary examination.

    I like to read MBA from Army Institute Of Managemant. I got 61% at B.Tech ECE upto 7th semester. I am a final sem student. I appeared in MAT FEB 2011. Am I elligible for the same and if so what am I to do?
