Lingaya’s University is one of the reputed Deemed Universities that offers the Bachelor and Masters courses to the candidates. University is recognized by Government of India and also approved by UGC Act 1956 to provide this reputed course to the candidates. Eligibility criteria:
• Candidate must have completed graduation with at least 60% aggregate from the recognized University to be eligible for this course.
• Candidates pursuing their degree in final year can also apply for this course.
• Candidates who have completed 12th class can also apply for this bachelor course.
• For this bachelor course candidates have to appear in Entrance exam conducted by the University.

Till now Lingiya’s, as also mentioned in the above article, claimed that they have received UGC approval.
Now, we understand that Lingiya’s has not been granted the approval from UGC for the year 2009-10.
What is the fate of all the students who took admission this year in B.E.
Why didnt UGC or any other Govt. agency create appropriate awareness among the public of the status of Lingya’s and other such colleges who have not been granted the required UGC approval.
Its a shame that govt. agencies in India are always irresponsible. Govt. should have taken proper steps so as to stop the admission process by such colleges. Govt. is more than responsible for the failure of their services which is for the service of the people only.
However these Govt. servants (i so wish to call them) are always deficient in their services. And still they behave as the shameless rulers.
