Structure of Lingaya’s University Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering Entrance Exam

The entrance exam for the admission to the doctoral course in Mechanical Engineering will be for duration of 90 minutes. Questions will be of descriptive type pattern. The question paper will comprise of 9 questions that carries 5 marks each; out of which only 7 needs to be attempted. Besides this, there will also be compulsory question carrying 15 marks. The total mark for the entrance exam is 50.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates those who have completed their master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or allied fields can apply for the Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering entrance exam conducted by the Lingaya’s University. Those in the final year of master’s course may also apply.

How to apply?

The candidates can apply for the Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering Entrance Exam in Lingaya’s University via online mode. For this mode, the fee payment of Rs. 700/- has to be made through Cash Card / Credit Card / Internet Banking / Debit Card. Furthermore, the candidates can also download the application form from the official webpage of the University http://lingayasuniversity.edu.in/. For this mode, the completed application form along with the DD has to be sent to Lingaya’s University, Jasana Road, Faridabad – 121 002, Haryana before the due date. The DD has to be drawn in favor of Lingaya’s University. The application fee can also be remitted in any of the concerned branches of Bank of India.

How to fill the form?

The aspirants have to take special concern during filling of the form. All the data entered should be correct. After filling the form completely, recheck whether all the mentioned data are appropriate. Moreover, make certain that there is no scribbling or overwriting in the filled form. Furthermore, affix a latest passport size photograph in the block mentioned for it. The candidates should also confirm that the duly filled application set reaches the University centre before the deadline.
