Swami Vivekanand Subharti University is approved under the UGC Act sec 2 (f). The university was formed under the Uttar Pradesh Adhiniyam of Swami Vivekanand Subharti Vishwavidhayala as assented by the honorable Governor of the State of Uttar Pradesh and as passed by the State legislature of Uttar Pradesh under Act.29 of 2008. The university is creating technically excellent and academically qualified professionals through its constituent colleges covering almost all the professional areas of education.

The university was formed under the sponsorship of the Charitable trust known as Subharti K.K.B., which has a praiseworthy evidence of assistance in the field of social welfare and health care education. The campus of the university is located at the Region of National Capital advantageously located on the National Highway Bypass road. The main campus is called as Subhartipuram and it is spread over an area of nearly 200 acres of land and it comprises of lush green lawns and magnificent buildings.
