Homoeopathy University came into existence in the year 2010 and the university was established by the Dr. M.P.K. Homoeopathic Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre Society located in the city of Jaipur. The law for the establishment of the university was approved by the Governor of the state of Rajasthan, which was legally accepted through the legislature on the 3rd of April 2010.

Homoeopathy University offers degree courses, certificate courses, research programmes, courses in life sciences, Ph. D courses and PG courses that are dedicated to the field of homoeopathy education. The university is set to form the magical aura of gentle healing that the homoeopathy medicine is all about. The university is provided with top line facilities and equipment with a view to become a centre of excellence in the field of homoeopathic education and research. The Homoeopathy University in the state of Rajasthan holds the pride of being the first of its kind in the whole world dedicated towards education in the field of homoeopathy. The university is connected with a hospital with a capacity to accommodate 80 patients in the impatient ward and it caters to the medical needs of 300 OPD patients per day. Admission of students to the BHMS course offered by the university is applicable to candidates, who have completed their higher secondary with five subjects, which includes biology, chemistry and physics, they should have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission and selection is based on the marks secured by the candidates in HU-PHT entrance examination. HU-PHT is the Homoeopathy University Pre-Homoeopathy Test conducted by the university. Admission to the PG courses is offered to students who have completed their BHMS course from a recognized university or institution and admission will be based on entrance test conducted by the university.
