Shiksha O Anusandhan University shortly called as SOA is an university located in the city of Bhubaneswar and the institution was conferred with the state of Deemed to be University on the 17th of July 2007. From the 30th September 2009, the university is awarded with A Grade status by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. All the programs offered by the university are accredited by the NBA and the university is also ISO certified by the United Registrar of Systems.

The university believes in quality teaching and research, functional autonomy, proper delegation of authority and transparency in Administration and these principles of the university has brought the university at this level with many accreditation and awards.

SAAT Admission Test conducted by Siksh ‘O’ Anusandhan University:

Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University Admission Test shortly called SAAT is a national level entrance examination conducted by the university every year for admission of students to the different UG and PG Courses offered by the university. The test is being conducted by the university in 60 centres across 42 cities in the nation and the test is primarily an objective type test that is conducted in par with the other national level entrance tests conducted in India.

The university follows government policies with respect to reservation for admission to SC/ST, Physically Disabled and women candidates. Candidates, who are shortlisted for admission to the university, will have to attend an open counseling for admission to different courses offered by the university. Thus, SOA University offers the best education through its constituent colleges under the faculties mentioned earlier, thereby developing as a multi-faculty university.
