Engineers India Limited functions or operates under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India. The company was established as a public sector undertaking in the year 1965. The main idea behind its establishment was to provide engineering and technical services for the petroleum refineries. The head office of the company is located at Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi. The branch office of the company is located at Mumbai. EIL Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd in Malaysia and Certification Engineers International Ltd. are the two wholly owned subsidiaries of the company.
Job Profile:
Engineers India Limited is loking forward to recruit young and energetic professionals on the position of Management Trainees. The position of Management Trainees is available in the disciplines of Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and Information Technology.
Eligibility:
25 years is the prescribed maximum age limit set for the post of Management Trainees in Engineers India Limited. All interested candidates should strictly follow this age criteria. Relaxation in the upper age limit may be provided to the reserved category candidates as per the rules of Government of India. The reserved category candidates includes the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Class (non creamy layer).
Educational Qualification:
Candidates are required to have completed their full time Engineering Degree course i.e. B.E. or B.Tech or B.Sc. (Engineering) in the concerned discipline from the institute or colleges recognized by AICTE. Those candidates who have passed out in the year 2010 or passing out in mid 2011 are also eligible to apply for the specified position.
No. of posts: 40 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Candidates will get the stipend of Rs. 25000 per month in their training period. After the successful completion of their training period, candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 24900-50500 per month.
Application Fee:
Rs. 300 is the amount of application fee that should be submitted by the interested candidates. However, only General and OBC categories candidates are required to submit this application fee. No fee is to be paid by SC/ST candidates. The demand draft of requisite application fee must be made in favour of Engineers India Limited payable at New Delhi.
Selection Process:
Selection of candidates will be made only on the basis of their performances in the Competitive Written Examination and Interview Test. The written testw ill be conducted in the month of September/October 2011. Shortlisted candidates of this written test will then be called to appear in interview test.
How to apply: Applications must be made online only by the candidates. Candidates will be allowed to apply online at the EIL website from 24 August 2011 onwards. Candidates are required to make their online application on before the due date. The printout of the completely filled in system generated application form should be sent alongwith the demand draft to the following address:
