Job Profile:

Eligible and professionals candidates are invited to apply for the following positions of Management Trainees (Technical) and Management Trainees (Administration-HR, Marketing, Finance) in Steel Authority of India Limited. Both of the two specified positions are in E1 grade. All candidates are required check for the eligibility conditions set for the two specified posts.

Eligibility:

Candidates are required to have age less than the prescribed upper age limit i.e. 30 years as on 1 July 2011. Also, candidates should not have been born earlier than 1 July 1981. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST categories. The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC category candidates and by 10 years for Physically Handicapped candidates.

Educational Qualification:

Management Trainees (Technical): Full time Degree in Engineering or MCA degree with atleast 65% marks in aggregate. Candidates should have done degree in any of the following disciplines of Mechanical, Metallurgy, Civil, E&T, Instrumentation, Ceramics, Chemical, Computer Science, Mining Engineering.

Management Trainees (Administration-HR, Marketing, Finance): Bachelor’s Degree with atleast 65% marks in aggregate band atleast 2 years full time MBA or Post Graduate Diploma in Management with 60% marks in aggregate.

Pay Scale:

Management Trainees (Technical): Consolidated salary of Rs. 20600-46500 per month.
Management Trainees (Administration-HR, Marketing, Finance): Consolidated salary of Rs. 20600-46500 per month.

Selection Process:

Eligible and shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for objective type written examination. The written examination will be held on 25 September 2011. Successfull candidates of this objective written examination, will be called to appear in the interview test or Group Discussion. The final decision on the selection of candidates will be made only on the basis of the merit list prepared after written and interview test.
