Canter for Development of Advance Computing has emerged as a premier third party Research & Development organization in IT&E in India. The centre operates under the administrative control of Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology. The centre aims to carry out Research and development activities in the field of Information technology, Electronics and associated areas. The main idea behind the establishment of the centre was to built supercomputers in context of denail of import of supercomputers by USA.

Job Profile:

Canter for Development of Advance Computing is looking forward to recruit best suitable candidates for filling up the following positions of Project Engineer-I and Project Engineer-II for its Thiruvananthapuram’s office. Candidates will be recruited on the specified positions for a contractual period of three years only.

Eligibility:

Interested candidates should have age less than the 30 years. 30 years is the maximum age limit set for both the posts of Poject Engineer-I and Project Engineer-II in Canter for Development of Advance Computing. Candidates having age more than the prescribed age limit, will not be considered eligible for the post. Uneligible candidates should not apply for the post under any cicumstances.

Educational Qualification:

Project Engineer-I: Candidates should have done B.E. or B.Tech in Electronics & Communication/ Applied Electronics/ Computer Science/ Applied Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electronics and Instrumentation with atleast 60% marks in aggregate.

Project Engineer-II: Candidates should have done M.E. or M.Tech in Electronics / VLSI/ Computer Science/ Electrical (Power Systems/ Power Electronics) with atleast 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized institute or university.

(General-41, OBC-21, SC-12 and ST-6)

Project Engineer-II: Total 17 posts are available.
(General-10, OBC-4, SC-2 and ST-1)

Pay Scale:

Project Engineer-I: Consolidated salary of Rs. 15000 per month.
Project Engineer-II: Consolidated salary of Rs. 18000 per month.

Application Fee:

Application fee must be paid through the means of a Demand Draft only. General and OBC categories candidates are required to submit an application fee of Rs. 500 only. Rs. 50 is the amount of application fee for SC/ST/PH categories candidates. The demand draft should be drawn in favour of CDAC Thiruvananthapuram from any nationalized bank payable at Thiruvananthapuram.
